The Spewy™ can absorb up to 2 litres of liquid and with the waterproof backing, nothing will leak through, we have you covered, Literally!
It's hard for young children to know when they are going to be sick, so by the time they tell you, it's usually too late! By using a Spewy™, it is right there ready to be used as needed.
Once the Spewy™ has been used, it's as easy as placing it in the wash if you're home or popping it into the Wet Bag if you're in the car or out.
The Spewy's are machine washable and low heat in the dryer.

We honestly couldn’t live without our Spewys! We use them every single day and they have been an absolute lifesaver for us.
They are incredibly absorbent, and one of our favourite ways to use them is after hydro. We pop one straight onto Tommy’s wheelchair so his wheelchair cushion doesn’t get wet, and it works perfectly every time.
Such a simple product, but one that makes such a huge difference to our everyday life. We absolutely love our Spewys and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! ❤️
Love our Spewys, with a new baby they are so handy we now have one in the car, pram, bedroom and lounge room aswell as 2 spares for when those need a wash 🩵

Should of read disciption better for the size, as it's smaller than I thought in my head. But I misread. Otherwise it is a perfect size, soft and easy to use and wash. I have the bigger Queen bed once and love them too.
I have been using the Spewy mat as a change mat for 3 months now (since newborn) and it is perfect to throw onto the mattress or children’s playmat to use. I started off with an expensive hard change mat but found it very unsafe as bub would easily roll unless used on a flat hard surface, which was not always practical. I now prefer my Spewy and stopped using the hard change mat. Initially I bought only one Spewy and ended up buying a second as I love using it every day! So easy to clean (I just chuck it into the washing machine) and folds up really small for easy storage. Soft for a newborn baby to lie on and waterproof so no middle of the night spills on the mattress. Highly recommend!!
I like the idea of them and they absorb well but after the first wash the top layer shrinks but the rest doesn’t so it doesn’t lay flat anymore so doesn’t work for what I wanted them for.

Hi Megan, thanks so much for your honest review! We manufacturer our products to ensure that they can contain up to 2 litres of liquid. Because of this, you may find that after a couple of wash cycles your Spewy™ may not be aligned. This doesn't affect the use of the product at all. If this happens, just hold the edges of the product and pull back into shape - alternatively if this doesn't work, please contact sales@spewy.com.au and we'd be happy to help further :)
still havent received them yet which is a shame. been 12 days now and have only just been collected from auspost
The spewy™ has a cotton print on top, in the middle it has layers of terry towelling and microfibre to absorb the liquid and a PUL waterproof backing to stop anything from leaking through.
How much liquid can a Spewy™ hold?
The Spewy™ can hold up to 2 litres of liquid.Is it safe for babies? Inline with SIDS recommendations, we do not recommend putting the Spewy™ in a baby's bassinet or cot. However it is safe for you to use between you and the baby to protect your clothes from vomit or to to place baby onto for some naked tummy time. Making sure that you always keep an eye on baby.
How do I wash a Spewy™ ?
The Spewy™ can be rinsed and then washed normally in a washing machine and can also go into the dryer on a low heat.
If you hang the Spewy™ on the line it will take a little longer then what a towel does to dry.
When to use a Spewy Bed Mat?
The Spewy™ Bed Mat is perfect for toddlers and young children who are still in the process of being toilet trained. It’s also ideal for holidays and trips away, where unfamiliar environments can result in unfortunate accidents.

How long will my Spewy and Bed Mat last?
All Spewy Bed Mats come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase — and yes, that includes absorbency.
While the warranty covers the first 12 months, many of our bed mats last much longer. Some families have even used the same one for all their children over several years. We design and make each Spewy Bed Mat with the highest quality fabrics so they’re built to last.
Over time, with regular use and washing, it’s normal for absorbency to gradually reduce — this is simply how absorbent fabrics naturally wear.
