Meet the Spewy™ Car Seat Protector — a simple, washable way to help protect car seats, chairs and other seating from life’s little accidents.
Perfect for toilet training accidents, nappy leaks, spills, wet swimmers and everyday mess, its absorbent layers help catch liquid while the waterproof, non-slip backing helps protect the surface underneath and keeps the protector in place.
Use it in the car, on dining chairs, highchairs or other everyday seating when you need a little extra protection.
When accidents happen? Simply remove it, pop it in the wash and get on with your day.

USING WITH A CHILD CAR RESTRAINT
Place the Car Seat Protector flat against the seating surface and thread the restraint's crotch buckle through the opening provided. Check that the protector is sitting flat and does not interfere with the harness, buckle or positioning of your child.
Always secure your child according to the child restraint manufacturer's instructions and ensure the harness is correctly positioned and tightened.
CARE
Machine wash according to the care instructions provided. Do not use fabric softener, as this may affect absorbency.

The Spewy™ Car Seat Protector has been designed with the relevant requirements of AS 8005:2020 – Accessories for child restraints used in motor vehicles in mind. It is an aftermarket accessory and has not been independently crash tested.
When using with a child restraint, always follow the restraint manufacturer's instructions and check that aftermarket accessories are permitted with your particular restraint.
Always ensure the protector sits flat and does not interfere with the harness, buckle, harness tension or correct positioning of your child. If it affects the fit or operation of your child restraint in any way, discontinue use.
The Spewy™ Car Seat Protector is designed to help protect against leaks, spills and everyday accidents and is not designed to alter or increase the safety performance of the child restraint.

How to use the Spewy™

FAQs
The spewy™ has a cotton print on top, in the middle it has layers of terry towelling and microfibre to absorb the liquid and a PUL waterproof backing to stop anything from leaking through.
The Spewy™ can hold up to 2 litres of liquid.Is it safe for babies? Inline with SIDS recommendations, we do not recommend putting the Spewy™ in a baby's bassinet or cot. However it is safe for you to use between you and the baby to protect your clothes from vomit or to to place baby onto for some naked tummy time. Making sure that you always keep an eye on baby.
The Spewy™ can be rinsed and then washed normally in a washing machine and can also go into the dryer on a low heat.
If you hang the Spewy™ on the line it will take a little longer then what a towel does to dry.
The Spewy™ Bed Mat is perfect for toddlers and young children who are still in the process of being toilet trained. It’s also ideal for holidays and trips away, where unfamiliar environments can result in unfortunate accidents.

While the warranty covers the first 12 months, many of our bed mats last much longer. Some families have even used the same one for all their children over several years. We design and make each Spewy Bed Mat with the highest quality fabrics so they’re built to last.
Over time, with regular use and washing, it’s normal for absorbency to gradually reduce — this is simply how absorbent fabrics naturally wear.
